Peanut butter means butter made up of peanuts and is one of the healthiest sources of fat. But what about the peanut butter sold in the market?
Is it healthy?
Most of the peanut butter sold in the market contains hydrogenated oils.

Now, what are hydrogenated oils?
Any naturally healthy oil like the palm oil or coconut oil is heated to very high temperature (around 500 to 1000 degrees). Then a metal catalyst is injected into it.
Basically, hydrogenated oils are very bad for you.
So, can we make peanut butter at home?
To make peanut butter, take 500 grams of roasted peanuts and try to roast it yourself. 50 grams of flax seeds, 2 tablespoons of cinnamon and food processor (You can even use a high speed blender instead).
First, we will put the roasted peanuts into the food processor and let it grind till they get powdery.
Then we will add the flax seeds and cinnamon into it.
Slowly the peanuts will start secreting their oils.
If you prefer peanut butter to be crunchy, you can have it as it is here.
But I will let it blend for some more time.
Finally, our naturally creamy and healthy peanut butter is ready.
So, just 20 minutes and your healthy home-made peanut butter is ready.
It is a value for money recipe. You can customize it as per your liking.
You can add 1 tea spoon of honey or If you wish to make it even more smooth, you can add a little of pure peanut oil.
You can add a pinch of salt as well.
You can even skip the addition of flax seeds and cinnamon to it.
You can make it totally as you may please. You are the boss.
